Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for a truck used and inexpensive to pull a 30' travel trailer just 150 miles.The trailer weight is 5700 lbs. dry. I have been working on cars for over 30 yrs. and would like an older model chevy that has little electronics. Just so you know I have an 85 240 Turbo Volvo that I have restored for a daily driver. Great car but no way will it pull a travel trailer.I have had quite a few Chevy's from a 50 Chevy,55,59 to a 64 Impala SS 327 250hp back in the day, so now you know I also love Chevy's. I hope someone can give me some direction. Thanks Charlie

 

I would think that anything Pre-1987 would be along the lines of what you are looking for. Back in the days of good ol' carbueration
