I just took delivery of my new sierra crew cab with the 4.8 v-8. 100 miles later I am getting a loud pop in the front end, when on my dirt driveway. The thing is whisper quiet on the pavement, but makes a creak/pop noise from the right front area when on a dirt road. Check wheel for loose lugs. Got on the front and tried to bounce it up and down to duplicate the noise. Can't get it to do while sitting still. Anyone heard of funky noises comming from the front torsion bars or anything of that nature.

If its a 2006 it should be under factory warranty and let the dealership in which you purchased it from deal with it...
