i dont know yet...i know that 4wheeler amg called the PW the best truck of the year, but their biggest complaint was no diesel...so im not sure..i also know that dodge is working on dumping cummins and developing their own diesel.

dodge is dumping cummins in 2007 and going with their
mercedez diesel engine
because dodge owns mercedez

I wish they would put a cummins in the Power Wagon
the truck would be so much better off

No, the only engine offered in the power wagon is the hemi for the next year or so, The Power Wagon is the ultimate off-road work truck but the cummins would add too much weight to the front, so they are holding off on the heavier but best engine. They are working on dumping some of the heavy metal used to construct the cummins but they would lose valuable hp and torque the cummins is so well known for.

i thought that the 6.1 Hemi was slated for the PW before the other rams too.

They should go with a CAT diesel engine and all would be good in Dodge Town.

insted of going with a diesl powerd PW why dont they go with a larger gas-powerd engin(360-383-440) they will loose som hp and overall power but it should do as they need......right?

I think you better go for a diesel PW, cost-cutting is v.imp

Diesel is the way to go if ur wanting the best source of power and not DESTROY fuel mileage

In addition to that: Diesel has more efficient beacuse it can run at higher compression, which works out to greater thermodynamic characteristics.

three letters.
4BT.
HP and Torque better than a gas engine. Better fuel economy than a bigger 6 cylinder. Less weight then all of em.
