My Dodge ram has the "ENG MAINT" light on and no one loca:(lly can help me get the light out except unplug the lamp. I have checked the emmisions erg valve and hoses and all else. I was told to "don't worry about it". I was told that it was just a remender to check all. I have been running it for 700 miles with the light on, but I would like to know how to correctly "fix" the lamp trouble. Please help. My truck is 1986.

hmmm..i dont think my 84 has that light...i know its not what you want to hear, but i wouldnt worry about it.
