Hi, New to the Avalanche forum... I own a 2005 Avalanche. The speedometer is broke. If you start up the truck the gauge automatically jumps to 60mph, or 100 depending on its mood I guess. Any help would be great, Thanks...

you have a faulty one there.. :) try looking for a replacement part if it bothers you.:)

there is an active recall in effect for broken speedo's and gauges, with limitations

the recall is on 03's and 04's...but your dealer may be able to do something

They added 05's with up to 70,000 miles to the recall.
