my friend is looking to get either a 6.9 with a banksor a 7.3 turbo- not the powerstroke but the turbo diesel. he is no really sure what is better as for as reliability and cost.

c'mon, someone out there has to have an opinion about it.

I have a 95 turbo PSD and I really like it. I've been told that the non turbo PSD's are kinda gutless. But in general PSD's are very reliable.
