I heard GMCV was thinking about Bringing back there HD V-6 engine lone they had in the 60's and 70's??</P>


Dose this mean the 305ci v-6's,351ci-V6's,379ci-V6's,401ci-V6's and even the big bad 432ci-V6 and 478ci v6's are going to make a come back?? </P>


we have a 1962 GMC C-30 with 379ci V-6 strong truck...I'd love too see a new high tech EFI Version of them V-6's come out....</P>

I imagine if they did it would be for nostaglia sake. Such as the HEMI
in the new dodge. Barely a HEMI at all, needless to say that it really
doesn't matter with fuel injection now.



They do still make engines such as the ones you talk about. They just go into Semi trailers.

That would be neat. If they are going to bring that engine back they need to really bring it back and not screw it up like Dodge with the Hemi and get some new designers. They've screwed up the GTO. They just can't compete with Ford when it comes to the classics.
