I wonder if anyone has figured out a way to drift a full size pickup yet. I guess it wouldn't be too hard if you dropped it and stiffened it up well. That would be cool!

I spun out and almost took out a pole! jcbst12 04-02-2008, 10:03 AM Go on youtube and look for drifting trucks. There are a few stock Silverados on there that drift pretty well. I could do it on my 91, I bet the 99 would be easy. But to do it professionally? I'd say short box, short bed 2wd and some tweaking and you would be good as gold. rxsteven 04-02-2008, 12:08 PM You would have to drop it as low as possible and get the weight as close to 50/50 as possible. Ive done plenty in my RX7 but that will be even better when I do my LS1 swap. jcbst12 04-02-2008, 12:53 PM I don't think it would have to be 50/50 do you? I mean a Mustang took nationals last year and those things are nose heavy. 240SXs are great for drift and they are light in the ass. |
