87 6.9L new alt, starter, second VR will charge good for a few days and then on start up, which can be a good 2000 rpm, the battery light comes on and VR burns out. Have been trying to correct wiring from before. May be missing something diode, or ????. Will try fusable link. Has one in but splice inafter link from bat to alt with vr in between.
