Hey i need some info on 85 4x4 ranger. A friend is looking in to geting a 85 4x4 ranger the motor is shot and i have two I6's both 300s how much room is there from the fire wall to the radiator and what ignition system is used in the 85s? Does anyone have any pictures of an I6 swap in a ranger? thanks in advance for your help and info.

Your gonna hve to chop the crap out of the fire wall for that to work, i don't even know if it's possible.
Stick a v-8 in it'll be very easy many companies make direct bolt in components.
