i am having trouble with the 4 wheel drive i turn the swicth it lights up but will not engage the front wheels it will even go to 4lo but still will not engage front wheels

maybe a front axle actuator...that or something broken in the axle (hope not)

found out today that the front axels are engaging seems like the hubs are not locking in the hubs are automatic

What year Ranger is it?

to all been a while since i have log on i have got the 4 wd fixed in my 1999 ford ranger 3.0 the vaccum lines to the hubs where busted
