Hey I own a 93 F250 7.3L non turbo diesel and it is haveng trouble starting. It sputters and shakes around for a while, and then when it does start it is turning over like the choke doesn't work. also my steering wheel is loose. any suggestions about fixing these would be greatly appreciated

diesels have glow plugs, no choke, there are two ways to help in starting your truck, 1 keep it pluged in under 32 deg. and test the glow plugs, if they are bad it will not start, they warm the combustion chamber for easeir starting, if not use a very little starting fluid and it will start, don't use too much or it could run away and blow and or damage bottom end and heads,, hope this helps you out

BE CAREFUL WITH STARTING FLUID
Diesel engines get addicted to starting fluid.. DON'T make it a habit!
