Just bought a 2008 ford ranger 2.3L 2wd singlecab and wanting to get a lift with nice tires and rims. anysuggestions?

would a 3" fabtech lift kit for a 2003 spindle system work for my 08 ranger? I heard they have the same front suspension from 98 and up.
