i have a '99 4wd expedition with automatic and prior to the downshift there is a rumbleling and gurgleing noise from the trans that goes away when i turn off overdrive or just let it downshift on its own. anyone have any similar experience? fluid was changed 15k ago and filter and fluid 30k. truck has 134k.

well i thought this was a specialty site for fords i guess it is not a common problem. thanks
