so i got a 2000 s10 4x4 and i am having a problem with my ABS. almost everytime i pull into a parking space or brake while going really slow my ABS kicks in and starts pushing the brakes back at me and i cant stop. i just changed out my rotors, calipiers, pads and hoses on all 4. anyone have any ideas? thanks

most likely, one of the abs sensors is faulty, telling the ebcm that it's sliding when it is not....thats the usual reason...i've seen a few other things, like a cracked teethed ring that the sensor reads

so where would i find this sensor and how can i check it?

each front wheel has itsown abs sensor...most older trucks have 1 for the rears...the brake copmputer monitors these wheel speeds closely...if 1 slows dramaticaly ahead of the others, the module takes action and kicks in abs...but 1 can "lie" and send false values to the pooter..

you check em with an volt meter to see if they work...but you'll have to have a scanner capable of freeze framing the speeds to catch it
