i just got a steal on a 1999 dodge dakota with a 3in lift kit, 32in mud tires, hard tonno cover for $1160 because it was a repo that wouldn't start. After putting on a used started the truck runs great. There is a ton of play in the steering wheel. I brought it to my uncles garage to have him check it out the only problem is the steering.

Where the steering colum extension enters the gear box it wiggles like crazy. Is there a bushing that is on the end that could be bad or is it the gear box? any help would be appreciated. thanks

If by the bushing you mean the rubber flexible boot? Then it is a cover for the joints. I'm not sure if it hold fluid or is just a dust and debris cover. And to replace that part I would say it would be dealer only but an auto supply store might have it. Try checking on racepages.com (http://www.racepages.com/) you might see what you are lookng for.
