Hey guys,

The armrest on my bucket seat is broken...by that I mean the stop that keeps it from rotating down is busted. So when I flip it down the end of the rest goes all the way to the seat. Is this a common problem? If so what's broken and how is it fixed? Its not apparent how the thing comes off so I cant even figure out whats wrong.

Let me know.

thx

Sean

Might be bent

It is bent actually. is it because of the bend that it's not engaging its stop? Any idea how to take it off?

you have to peel up the seatback fabric to get to a clip..flick the clip off with a screwdriver

Thank you very much Argon. I took it off and straightened it out. It works ok now. Unfortunately the bushing in the seat structure now is loose so that slop will allow the pin to slide past the groove in the arm rest. ****ty design but that's another thing. But I just shimmed it so the pin should stay in the groove.
