I don't know a lot about going off road but this dude I work with is getting into it and he says that American trucks suck at it and that Suzuki and Toyota are the best for it. Is that true? I mentioned the Hummer H1 and he said that didn't count. He's talking about getting a Suzuki Samuri and says that would be a lot better than a Ram, Silverado/Sierra, or F-Series. Is this true?

From what I've seen nothing beats a Toyota but if they say American trucks suck then they haven't been lookin'!

I go mudding every chance I get (which isn't often here in AZ!) and I can't get enough of it!

Truck weight and engine weight are the biggest factors which is why the Toyotas are probably the best.

I think i will have to disagree with him there. But he is right babout the toyota thing, they are the best muddin vehicles a man can buy. i am a muddin enthusiast and i go every saturday and sunday. I had a jeep but now i have a 01 ford f-150. They both work excellent in the mud. i have gone in mud almost 3/4 the way up my tire in the jeep and the f-150. Neither have ever gotten stuck. Although they both do have the best tires a man can buy. BFGoddrich Mud Terrains. I recommend those to anyone who ever wants to go muddin.

ram 2500 cummins is the best truck out there
my friend has one
he has put the banks power six-gun big bundle and turbo
on it
it has over 400 horse power
that is the best muddin truck i have ever seen in real life
toyotas are good muddin vehicles if you want to see mud fly
everywhere because they get stuck\

i have to agree, toyotas will go almost any where, mostly cause they r so light. but I have to say that I use to have a 77 chevy with 33s and it did very well in the mud and water but not as good on the rocks. I think a trucks ability is much more in the driver and his/her willingness to tear stuff up

any 4wheel dirve is better than none

Toyotas are good but if you want power go with a chevy V8.
