Hi, I just replaced my 22RE timing chain and cover due to wear thru and coolant infiltration to my oil. Truck started fine but my oil light did not go out. Now I only ran the truck for <10 seconds due to my paranoia of spinning a bearing, so maybe I didn't run it long enough. I didn't go into the oil pan(should have I?) Oil level is fine and my sender is connected and was working previously. Do I need to prime the oil pump somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
