Ford is reintroducing the Lighting in 2006 with a 500-540 horsepower Supercharged 5.4L V-8. I have heard from different people that after that Lighting they might use one of three engines, the GT's 5.4L, a 7.0L V-8, or the Ford Shelby Cobra's V-10. Has anybody heard this? </P>

the 2006 model has 500 hp and thats not to the wheels
i have heard rumors that they are going to upgrade the
engine but i dont think its going to be the GT engine though

Nevr heard anything about this, but i did hear the new lightning is supposed to outrun the dodge 1500 SRT 10.

i didnt hear that at all and i work with ford .. but that doent mean anything .. ford is odd about there releses ... sounds great one of my freinds in Chatt, tn has a 03 run 8.41 spining in first and second ... BAD RIDE ... do any one have any links or pages on this info?

I never heard about this. Its now 2008. What Ford model has this 2008 lighting? Please enlighten me.
