hi all
just bought a nice running 1980 f250 (4x4, 4sp, 300/6) and I have a question.
truck runs great, shifts fine, transfer case seems fine etc, but when I back up then park the front camber is way out ( top in). there is also some type of gear bit that seems to back out of it's place. when I drive forward again all seems to return to normal.
I am setting off tomorrow morning on a hard 1600 mile roadtrip to mexico and I have no idea if this is normal or my truck needs big time work.
please excuse my ignorance. I am attaching a pic of the gear piece on the front end.
help!
thanks
