Default 2005 GMC Sierra Factory Warranties ??????

Good afternoon,
I have recently purchased a used 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 and I am experiencing problems with my serv eng soon/check eng light coming on ...
Someone told me that the majority of the time that the light comes on will be due to an emissions related failure. If that is the case, I would like to know what the factory warranties were for that year ... bmpr to bmpr, powertrain and emissions warranties.
If someone would be so kind as to clue me in on that info I would greatly appreciate it ...
Thanks,
The Doberdood

Take it to Autozone and have them scan your computer to see what codes it is throwing. Then you will know what is wrong and to check and see if it is covered.

3-36,000 bumper to bumper and 5 year 60,000 on powertrain.

Get it scanned before you worry about warranty.
