Default 5.3 to 6.0 engine swap
i have a 2002 gmc sierra 1500 5.3 and i need to know if a 2002 chevy 2500hd 6.0 will fit in my truck???

Im sure the 6.0 will fit considering it was a factory optioned motor. Im not sure what mods you will have to do though. My buddy is doing the same swap to his 99 but he hasn't got it in yet.

Yes it will fit. Just swap out the ECM with it to. All the sensors and connections will be the same.
