Default Body Side Mouldings

I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. It's a white truck and the factory color matched body side mouldings have turned a brownish yellow color. I've noticed on other trucks that are a color other than white, the mouldings seem to retain their color, where as most of the white trucks I've seen have the discolored mouldings like mine.

Is there a fix for this other than replacing the mouldings?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can always just take them off. I've seen some without it an it looks pretty good. You just have to spend some time getting the double sided tape off.

Same here. I did away with them. There is a rubber disc you put on a air tool and it will buff off the glue without scratching it. Ive tried using solvents and chemicals but used that disc and worked like magic.
