Dodge 1500

Has anyone ever had a Dodge 1500? What did you think of it? My brother plans to get a diesel. I've heard that after roughly 200,000 the transmission often need replacing. Is this for the diesel or gas? Is this peculiar to particular years? Thanks! ganocafe Seat Covers

Honestly???? JUNK! Horrible resale, horrible highway manners at highway speeds. (sways alot). Good looking truck on the outside...kinda cheap on the inside. GM or Ford way before a Dodge. Electrical and tranny problems that have plagued the Dodge for years were supposed to be corrected, but...sigh...they have not. They just put a better warranty on them.
