Check to see if your bolts backed out that connect your intermediate pipe to your Y-pipe. That is what happened to mine when it started to rattle. When I installed my catback system on my truck I apparently did not tighten up teh bolts tight enough. They were like .89 cents a piece for them at the dealership.

If the converters are no good they will actually clog up and restrict exhaust. Have you gotten under there and looked?

Default my luck

I went to the local muffler shop and the mechanic checked my converter and it was indeed rattling . Next he checked my mileage and when i bought the truck and come to find out 8 year or 80,000 miles my vehicle is covered by federal law and the gm dealership fixed it for free . Soi got brand new converters and shiny new pipe from the manifolds to the mufflers.
