Canyon/Colorado mods?
Hi All,
Newbie here. Just got a used 09 Canyon with a 3.7 5cly inline. Got a lot guts, but not too much is available for performance upgrades. Had a bad experience with Jet Performance Products..................
They list a chip for this engine, but the number is wrong. They picked up the chip and sent supposedly the new number. Had a mobile tech put it in and it did not work. Rough idle and blue smoke out ehaust. Called them and sent it back at my expense. Sent chip number 3. Same thing. Sent it back at my expense. This happened four times total.
They said: send it back to Sun Valley Bumper who is the dealer. They give him a return number to send to his distributor. I have not received credit of $307 yet and have incurred $469 in install and removal charges from mobile tech.
I asked Jet for reimbursment and they have not even responded by any means. I now have to take them to small claims court. Will it be worth it? I don't know. But we cannot let businesses get away with sticking it to us because their advertized product does not do what it is supposed to.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...............

I had mine professionally tuned using HPtuners. Before you go and get a tune, you should have any other mods. you want done first. I have an AEM brute force intake, gutted primary cat. and a Magniflow exhaust. Huge improvement over stock especially with the tune. Your probably gonna want to check out some Colorado/Canyon forums like 355nation.net or coloradofans.com
