Default 02 sierra 2500 hd

hey guys im just wondering what everyone would suggest to do to a black 02 2500hd w/ a 6.0.... im looking for cosmetic upgrades and mechanical... i already do have a lift/level kit in it with bigger tires, myself i really like the stock alloy chrome wheels. i have a decent system in it, tinted windows, clear corner mod, tinted bumper lights, tinted taillights, hids in the lows and fogs, k&n intake, full magnaflow exhaust system, waiting on my tune from blackbear. im really just wondering what else can be done to it... i really enjoy tinkering on my own vehicle so i guess just throw out there what you'd do to it if it were urs...

You know it's like disucssing ice cream flavors. There's no right answer. I've got my Black 03 2500 and I've been online looking at stuff. It's mind
boggling how much there is out there to upgrade/personalize/customize your truck.

As I drive around I've been paying attention to what people are doing to their rigs. Ultimately for me, I'm going with "less is more". I love the shiny black with just hints of chrome look. So many trucks go down the road and to my taste, their overdone. At first I was going to add chrome door handles and polishced nerf bars, but I went with the black and am happy with the result.

The 2 things I think would finish your truck off is a set of the projector headlights and the cab running lights (favorite feature on mine).

On the mechanical side, I'm waiting for my K & N Seires 77 to come in and then I'm grabbing the Hyper Tech Max Energy programmer. I don't think I'm doing an exhaust since the performance benefits are marginal and the stock unit is stainless.

One cool thing I did is I found the original sales brochure for my 2003 on Ebay.

I would do black nerf bars and chrome door handles, but not the entire assembly, just the handle. A billet grille is always a nice touch and so are the cab lights as Gabbydad stated above. Here is a link to a cool catalog that I always dream with: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/ce/t.aspx

On the roof, you need to cut 3 holes each for the side units and 7 holes for the center unit. This is for the wires and there are clips that go in the holes for the screws to grab onto. I also had to use some silicone to seal up the holes. I got a leaker when I replaced the stock unit last month!

As for the headliner, I'm not sure. There might be a way to fish them through and then hide them in the front where the healiner and windsheild meet? When I put my Sirius in, that's what I did to hide the wires.
