02 z71 $10k?
So i decided to get something a bit newer than originally planned, i test drove this stock 2002 z71 over the weekend (along with 5 other z's from 96-02) ...drive train seems better than any of the z71's i've been looking at..it looks good in n out and strong as a beast, I floored it on a right turn and fish tailed that baby nicely.
Also, it does pull to the right a bit when letting go of the wheel (no pull when hard on breaks) emergency brake seems to push all the way down with not much resistance, abs/break light comes on but thats about it.
Is $10k good for this year with 119k on the odo?
Thanks!

Seems respectable to me. Slightly high, but if the frame and body are in perfect shape, they have't beat the h*ll out of it mudding/offroading it, then yes. If it's a solid, clean, stock truck, I would say yeah that's a respectable deal.

seems a bit high imo but if its all straight has no rot or anything an the dealership takes care of the abs/brake light stuff then hop on it,i have a 01 silverado 1500 ext cab short bed paid 6,500 for it 2 months ago its the one in my profile pics but it has 144,865 on it an its clean as a whistle no lights on or anything good luck with the purchase let me no how you make out -pat

I wouldnt give more than 7000 for it as it is. The motor will last you a long time. The tranny is the big thing to check out. The emergency brake really needs to be replaced, and it does run up an expensive bill. And the abs/brake light could mean something major. Must test it to be sure, a good slam on the brakes from bout 30 mph to see if the anti lock is workin. Would just hate to see you buy it for that price then come on here asking what to fix, unless your pretty savy and can do the work yourself. Either way, hope things turn out good for u!
