Default 05 Sierra 2500 4x4 problems

First off please bear with me as I am not mechanically strong in my words.
I shifted my truck into 4 high today and was starting into a tight turn (on concrete) and my front end started to shake like both wheels were not turning at the same time but on a diffrent rotation. This happened also when I shifted to 4 low.I also noticed a weak grinding sound. Please help me out if you can.

Not a real good idea to be driving in 4X4 on dry assault or concrete for the longevity of your drivetrain. Is this something you HAVE to do?
I'm just repeating what it already says in your owner's manual.

Diving in 4 HI or LOW is for low traction driving only. The front wheels do turn at the same speed, so in a corner the inside wheel MUST slip to travel the same distance as the outside wheel. If the traction is too good (on pavement) this strain has to be released somewhere else in the drivetrain. Usually a U-joint but sometimes the transfer case fails.

Hey thx for the replies. As for driving on the concrete it was only for approx 2 mins broken up into 4 times that I was checking it.I will go find some dirt or low traction area to see if it happens again.I last put it in 4x4 when we got alot of snow up here.( Really very rare). The 4x4 ran smoothly and perfectly.Thx Elvis
