I'm pretty sure are trucks you pull your v6 around the parking lot. So I wouldn't talk till you get a real pickup, a V8

Id take his 1985 "POS" over your truck anyday.

but as far as exhaust, get something mellow, such as a Magnaflow so it doesnt sound terrible.

OMG people. Relax, who cares about who can pull who around, cause if ya really wanted to you could go rent a semi form Ryder or something and pull 6 pickups around like toys. Lol.

Ok, honestly a V6 will never sound like a V8, don't believe me? Try it. Every V6 stang, V6 camero, and V6 truck that I have ever heard with an exhaust sounds like a V6. And I used to put them on these cars all the time. BUT there are a few out there that will make your V6 sound mean. I have only delt with magnaflow, thrush and flowmaster. DO NOT do a glasspack, will sound like crap, do maybe a flowmaster 40 with some bigger diameter pipe. Your going to loose some gas mileage but it will sound good.

FYI: 5.3 gets better MPG than 4.3 and 6.0. You don't gain any advantage anymore with a V6 than you do with the 5.3. 8 years ago or more, yes you would.

Lol. You know what the worst part is? Soon its going to be "Oh yeah well mine gets better gas mileage than your truck!" instead of "Oh yeah well mine can kick your trucks ***!".
