I went out to my glove box after work today and copied down the "Service Parts Identification" list, this is what it says:
MT1

The MT1 RPO code means you have the 4L80E transmission.

Nice avatar, but why isn't there any snow there in CO?

So thanks to "ghlkal" for helping me figure out the transmission RPO. In fact the old light bulb went off in my head! Thank goodness for Google! I found most of the RPO codes on a handy website, duh!

Like for instance I didn't know I bought an Astral Silver colored truck. Heck, I thought it was gold!

And to respond to "ghlkal"'s commment about snow... That avatar (photo) was taken in August at 10,000 feet, Kenosha Pass, I know there is snow there now! But I have to admit since I've bought this truck and my new snowblower last year we haven't had squat for snow in the Denver metro area. I grew up in central Minnesota and I know a little bit about snow and cold, that's why we moved out here. Winters in Denver are a piece of cake!

Thanks again to the forum members!

yeah, I've got the 6.0L engine. I think it's called the LT3 engine.
LT3 is a trim level not an enginge. LT3's started for the 06 year model and were basically fully loaded, heated leather, 6 disc bose, things like that.

you have GT4: 3.73 gears, G80: Locking diff, and the LQ4 is the 6.0 motor should be 300hp and 360lb ft tq.

check out FSC forum, they have an RPO list on there somewhere. good luck and enjoy the truck.
