Hi, I'm new to the forums and acctually the reason I made this account was so I can ask this question. Forgive me if it's been asked but I can't find it anywhere on youtube( I either find one or the other) and nowhere on any websites. So I have an 85' sierra 4x4 with a 350 and a 4 barrel carb(everything is stock except for the K&N air filter). Now This truck isnt in that good of shape,its only got 117k on it but it sat for a few years with hardly any use. Now I baught a cherry bomb glass pack to give it some noise and make it sound better than it looks. Then I found some videos where the damn glass packs would sound like rice burners and such so I began looking for resonated tips. Well I finally found a boom tube tip which is huge and is supposed to enhance the noise so my question is. Would the truck sound good with both? Basically I want it to rumble at a low rpm then Roar at a high rpm but not pop and sound like a Jimmy with a cherry bomb(which sounds like crap,no offense if you own one).
