I just brought my 16 yr old his first Chevy pick up and it's nice ,i'am adding
fender flares and a brush guard to dress it up a little.
i had the brush guard spayed with bed liner and i'am having trouble mounting the brushguard it's a Manik and i'am missing the hardwear that mounts to the bumper i have the one that mounts to the tow hook area
any advice i want to get this put on .Thank's Bro's

well this may sound like something that you wouldnt overlook but did you plug the holes for the mounting brakets and where the bolts go casue if you didnt they will be kinda difficult
so my suggestion take a rat tail file or small dremal sander and clean the bolt holes out
also the bedliner may be kinda thick where the parts meet up on the frame
and also what year of truck did the brush guard come off of
a brush guard that came off an 88-98 chevy truck should thereticaly fit your sons truck
if it came from anything newer then that it may not fit unless you do some fab work
also anything older then 88 could require some custom fab work
more information perhaps pictures would be very very helpfull

also another suggestion would be go ahead and mount them to the tow hook area if possible try to find longer bolts the same size and tread as the originals so as you can put the tow hooks back on
tow hooks are very helpful whne you get stuck in mud snow or whatever

I'm not familar with the kit.. but aren't the missing brackets just Angle, like brackets?
Couldn't you just fabricate your own brackets?
Oh yeah, HEY get the 16 yr old in there helping... you shouldn't be doing all the work.
I wish my Dad bought me a truck
