There is a little story there also. The service manager didn't really want to help me. When I first asked about something to look at to show how the lights were hooked up he stated they didn't have anything. I then said "You don't have any GM service manuals or a computer program like AllData or something similar?" He then decided they had a whole library of service manuals in the room next to his office. One of the service men came in while I was browsing thru the manual and asked what I was doing and I told him trying to memorize the connections and locations. He told me in front of the service manager, they had a copy machine so I could make a few copies. Service manager wasn't really enthused about the whole deal but I goturdun. The SM told me as I was leaving that it would probably be a lot less expensive to just bring the truck in and let the mechanics check it out. LOL. He's too young to understand how things are when you are on a fixed ( and not too great) income. I'm retired!

 

Yeah..I hear ya...but think..can you blame him?..what did you do for a living?..did you give stuff away?..If your a reg customer,thats one thing...but a guy walks in off the street and wants free stuff...he'd be tossed in most businesses...\

I'm just saying..remember them and buy your next car there!
