Looking to do my Father in laws brakes, any suggestions on pads and rotors? He currently has ceramics and it appears to be best to replace ceramic with ceramic due to the OEM caliper not accepting them and extra hardware that had to be added? Is this true?

 

Ceramics come stock but I dont like them cuz they are noisy. Just get some regular pads and rotors from the parts store. I bought mine for 75 bucks. Before you put the pads on, get some sandpaper and round off the edges of the new pads all around. This will allow them to break in properly. Otherwise, they will squeal a little after you put them on.
