Default 2002 c1500 heavy duty suspension ???

Hi,

I have a 2002c1500 short bed that came with a heavy duty suspension option ($95 on sticker).

Can anyone tell me how it is different from the standard suspension?

This one has 6 lugs on 16" wheels,2 leafs on the back, and coils on the front. Tires are 255/70R16. I bought the truck from an individual and he had 50+ lbs in the tires and it rode kinda rough, I set the tires at 30lbs and it rides like a chevy now. I just was wondering what the heavy duty suspension option included.

Ok,its not the HD 4-door...

just stiffer shocks then...maybe a 10 inch ring gear vs 9 1/2

No, it's a short bed regular cab.

i think it is 6 lug with one more leaf added they would not put 8 lug on a short bed s cab plus if they did it would be alot more than $95

It has the standard 2 leafs, like other 1500's. I think it's really just shocks, because the 07's have a ride/handling option for $95 which only includes monotube shocks for ride and handling. I also gave the vin # to my local Chevy parts guy and he seems to think the shocks are to only difference also.

Thanks for the replies
