hello all, im new to this forum and had a question about my truck. it came factory without fog lights but it has the switch in the dash for them. i got a pair of fog light and installed them my question is does my truck have a harness for them or do i need to splice them in? if so were would i need to splice them in?

 

Thats odd that you already have fog swith in the cab but no lights,if there is no harness hangin around were your fog lamps go then check behind your switch for any wires that are plugged in.I would just run your own wires and just use the factory switch.if you have a hot wire hooked up to the switch already try to find a fog lamp fuse and check with a test light that the fuse is for just that curcuit.then you wont have to worry about an inline fuse.theni would just run wires from the other side of that switch to your fogs and ground your lights to the frame.
