Ok...my '06 is not putting sound out of the front door speakers. The wires all appear intact and there are no blown fuses. What am I missing?

Is it a stock or after market deck. Is it Bose?

 

It's a stock system. Not Bose.

Update: the front passenger speaker kicked on for about an hour the other day. Now it's back off.

 

just an added thought. i have an 07 silverado-wt w/ the stock am-fm radio. i had about 46000 miles on it at the time.
first the r-front door spkr quit, so i checked the wiring an connectors an stuff an found the spkr was dead so i installed a new one an it worked. then about 2 or 3 weeks later the left frt. spkr quit, did the same process with that one . that was a couple years ago an its still okay. so my guess is that there is a weak link with the factory door speakers, not sure just a guess. but you might have the same problem i did.

 

I actually had a similar issue with a '99 Z-71 with stock audio. The end result was losing sound in all four speakers and no amount of replacing would fix it.
