Just bought a new Sirerra Z71 crew cab 5.3 litre. Need some recommendations? It needs a leveling kit,and want to add an exhaust system and programmer with intake and any other power ups that recommended.My question is what are the best ones of each. Tried to do my own research but its to many choices out there. By the way this is my first post and hello to all.

 

Hey, i m new here, i just got a 08 1500 crew cab with 5.3, and i want to do same, i have put on a magnaflow dual ehaust, i like the exhaust it is not to loud, but cat really see the power gain yet(but i had it installed when i bought new, so not sure what stock is like), the negatives about it are, it hangs low(my truck is also a Z71), it is loudest at 1500-2000 RPM(my driving range), the tips turned brown within first two months(i live in norhtern ontario, its -30C already, so lots salt exposure(i put on lots kms), a couple guys at my work installed borla kits this summer on a 1500 HD, and toyota, and jeep, and i think i would have rather had the borla.
I was wondering if there is a programmer out there that will maintian my smart engine, and not mess it up bc it is a stupid flex fuel model, i want to maintain same Great fuel mileage.
also want cold air, and any other possible upgrades.,,, i installed a custom topper on my truck and hate the visibility but i think it helped with fuel consuption.

im sorry, i did blable, what i was trying to say was that i personally am not pleased with my dual magnaflow exhaust, i prefer the borla kits i have put on and seen, over my magnaflow. so what im trying to say is that perhaps try a borla exhuast over a magnaflow, and the rest of my comments were in regards to the fact that i to am looking for more upgrades and asking same questions as you.
