Default 2011 Silverado LT

Hay all. Waiting on delivery of 011 1500 Silverado. I ordered loaded, but don't know what to expect. Any suggestion on things of look out for or anything like that let me know.
My first truck since Chevy couldn't come up with a replacement for the TrailBlazer.

Before I 30K miles on my '08 truck, I had it in the shop for a faulty hood latch switch (gave a "hood open" message) & a faulty alarm that kept going off at about 10pm. Free repairs because of warranty. But no real problems. I'm only at 37K now.

That's beautiful. You must just drive to work. Unfortunately, I will be using mine for more than work. That is my concern. Perhaps I will use my other hoop-dy when bowling or socializing; although, my wife has a 07 BMW. But you can win - no matter what you drive, mileage will kill a car.

Thanks for you post..

JZeig1,

In general, truck production is the most difficult to gauge. The truck build-out and start-up schedules are strongly affected by the numerous ordering configurations available for production and because of this; there could be a 3-month window for build-out/start-up. For a better understanding of how long the process takes, I would encourage you to contact your local dealer.

Caron, GM Customer Service
