Went shopping for a new Sierra today and found that my local dealer has a demo unit outfitted exactly the way I want, but has 2700 miles on it. On top of all the incentive deal they are offering right now they dropped the price $2200 for being a demo. Is this enough of a credit for it being a demo truck? Anyone else have experience buying a demo?

My last Sierra, 2008, I received as a demo. In addition to the incentives, the dealership dropped the price around $3,000. Also- the factory warranty will start at the 2700 mile mark, not at 0 miles as if you bought it off the lot. Good Luck and enjoy your new Sierra.

 

Thanks drexelgrad. I assume they dropped the price $3000 below invoice? They are of course trying to negotiate from the MSRP.

Check with your bank or credit union and see what they tell you about the price. This will give you some good information to deal with.

2700 miles will not be a problem, I think this truck has a 100,000 mile warranty. It will not effect your tires or brakes that much.
