I was told not to use an oiled air filter, only paper is acceptable on the warranty. This means a K & N and many other name brands would void the warranty.

 

I had a K&N on my '03 for 3 yrs and they never said a thing about it. Hell, 2 days after I got my new truck I put a K&N in it.

What about your leveling kit? Did they say that would cause any warranty issues?

 

I didn't ask. They didn't notice. I didn't tell them. I've been told it won't affect the warranty; however, it can be taken off easily if I needed to. The only thing that I think can cause a problem is messing with the stock computer setup. In other words, no tunes, chips, etc.

 

Yeah that's kinda what I figured. I think I'll stick with getting exhaust done first!
