You could try adding a tube of Posi-X to it. My 95 Z28 was whining when I was turning at slow speeds like a parking lot or something and the Posi-X fixed it right up. I know you don't have the same problem but the stuff is designed to fix most rear end problems. Couldn't hurt.

One thing he did was use mineral base oil, PB said the factory senthedic oil sucks and causes pre-mature gear and differental problems. He said when I have it serviced after 30,000 miles do not let any one put senthedic oil in my differental.

The chunk is made to work under normal chevy conditions, or I would assume the manufacturer would have designed it that way. Putting a non-factory lube in the rear could certainly change the way the chunk performs and possibly void a warranty. Just my opinion.

He also said they have replaced the new lock posi that Chevy says is so great. PB said if some one floors it when it locks it will explode and they will not warrenty. They have replaced this system with 500 miles brand new.

I would not beleve some of the things they say, but Pyle brothers is well known in racing and local shops. They were refered to me from Rutland Transmission.

Well synthetic is better hands down. Its been proven time and time again. The GM factory stuff, well manufacturers do go with the lowest bidder most of the time. As far as the rear ends go, well I always hear stories about blown engines, tannys and rear ends straight from the factory so that doesn't surprise me. But if GM didn't take care of it, there is more to the story then what was said.

Its not a huge problem, I can't drive 90MPH for more than a few seconds or I will be in jail. But damn I paid $900.00 to have this done and I wan't it right! I am going to call again tomarrow and tell them this is unexceptable.

There used to be a guy on here (Bigtexaschevy I think) that had a whine in the rearend, then exploded it on the interstate. Chevy did warantee it though. So definately get the shop to fix it, or write you a warantee stating specifically the issue you are having.

It's an aftermarket chunk, chevy won't touch it now.
