I have a 1999 Sierra 1500 with a 4.8. The tranny is shifting slow and it jumps out of gear when you put it to the wood. I was just wondering what trannys will fit in it. Its an automatic and its 4 wheel drive. 4l60e from a 350 vortec? 305? 5.3? 4.3?

 

Can I use any 4l60e from a 1997 to present ls1 engine?
