Planning to take first steps in performance improvements, CAI & Headers/Exhaust

Very surprised at the number of performance equipment manufacturers that do not have applications for the 8.1L Silverado/Sierra

I've pretty much decided to go with a Volant CAI with their new PowerCore dry filter but need some directions as to where to get the best headers and/or exhaust package for:

2007 "Classic" 2500HD CC SB,8.1L, Allison 6 spd, 4.10 gears 5W hitch

8.1 liters are not very common, therefore, not alot of aftermarket parts. It's a bit more expensive but a good muffler shop can make a set of headers.

i wouldnt be too jealous... 8.1 liter with 4.10s? i bet that thing drinks gas...

then again... i bet it'd sound wicked with exhaust

 

but it can tow a **** load, and probably be made to run fast as hell.

 

Ive bin told by the tuner guy i know that when you reprogram the 8.1 it comes to life!!!! He likes doing the 8.1's in the avalanches. in stock form im not to impressed with the big block.
