Hello i have a 95 Chevy K1500 Z71 and i just cant seem to get good fuel mileage. Im getting anywhere from 10.2-11.1 mpg. I just did a complete tune up. I put on a new cap and rotor, plugs and wires, fuel filter, oil change, air filter, new flow master cat back exhaust, and a new o2 sensor. Ive also used fuel system cleaner and sea foam and its not getting any better. Truck runs good but does have a very small mis at idle that you can barely notice. I dont know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions id love to hear them. thanks

I was just bein sarcastic, figured you were stock, just seems youve done everything most people would say to do already. Haha

The only other thing that comes to mind is a clogged cat but that usually would affect the operation of the truck most too

 

yeah i dont know what the problem could be. i dont think the cat is bad, it doesnt glow orange

 

Try coolant temp sensor. Located beside thermostat housing. Clean the grounds in that area too.
It has a lot of symptoms including yours.

 

What gears are you running in the rear end? 410s? Those could hurt your mileage.
