Default 97 Silverado 4x4 Steering Gearbox

Hello All, First post here! Well I'll get right to it. Awhile back I replaced pitman arm, idler arm, tierods and a few other things. Well I lost my mark on the pitman arm and got it one notch off! After discovering this I decided to let my front end alignment shop deal with it. It was turning way to far one way and not far enough the other way. When I called later that day they said its ready and they did not have to take the pitman back off. How would they have fixed the problem without doing this???? Picked it up and it drove great! The only thing I have noticed is that the steering wheel seems to stick alittle! Doesn't bounce back just right! Can I adjust the tension at the steering box???? Thanks Alot

I belive the pitman arm can only go on one way, It should have atleast one spline that is thicker than the rest preventing you from putting it on wrong. Cant remember but I believe there is 3 thicker splines.

they did not align it right then...they compensated by putting 1 tie rod wayyy off to 1 side
