ABS Antilock acting up..
I have a 2002 K2500 Extra Cab Silverado. Since I rotated the tires recently the antilock brakes are acting weird. When I come to a stop, either slow or fast, at about 2 MPH the right front starts pulsing like im on Ice. Did I knock off a sensor or something? Where and what should I look for?

RE: ABS Antilock acting up..
I have a 99 GMC Sierra and mine does the same thing, i think on the same wheel. I tooko it to the local dealer and theytold me that the $1500 brain for the ABS is gone. BUt the mechanic told me to take the fuse out of the fuse box under the hood. It's a 60amp. Take that out and u will have manual brakes but they wont vibrate. When u go to have it inspected put the fuse in until they r done so the lights will go out in the dash. Some garages wont inspect if the lights r on.

RE: ABS Antilock acting up..
I have a 2000 Sierra SLE 4x4 and had a similar problem about 2 years ago. Thought I was going to go right through a few lights. A friend who is a mechanic at a dealership told me it was corrosion on the speed sensors and that they had to pull wheel bearings etc. He then told me he thought he had heard about it being a common problem and would check for recalls. Lucky me the recall went into effect 3 days before. Had them fixed under the recall. This was in Canada but my truck was built in Fort Wayne so recall should be universallty applied. Give it a try.
