How often to do guys clean your air filters?

 

I usually clean my air filter either once a month or before and immediatly after a desert trip. I uaually give her a good ole' shot of sea foam in the gas tank about once a month too.. That stuff is just plain amazing...

 

Every oil change...(3,000 miles)

 

Well man i just cleand mine and man it was dirty.

 

How long had it been since you last cleaned it hunt?

Lets just say i have had the filter for about 15 months and this is the first time i have cleaned it.

I know i know i was bad and i should of cleaned it. But i never thought about it until this weekend.

Yeah like i said when i got my k&n i never thought about it until i joined this site and we started talking about it. I never really took the time to do it. But now i know and i will clean it more often.

 

No worries hunt I got you beat by a long shot! Try this, last truck I had the ranger the last time I opened the air box was about two months after I bought it in February of 2001 and I traded it in this february. I dropped a K&N in it and never looked back. lol I'm a slacker
